TipTapDot is a mobile game made by Devaarth Studios. This page explains what happens to your information when you play. The short version: the game does not collect anything, and it cannot send anything anywhere.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect, request, or receive any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign in, no email address required, and no contact list access.
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves a few things locally on your phone so it can remember your progress between sessions. This information never leaves your device:
- Your best score and best combo
- The name you type for the high score screen
- How many games you have played and how many dots you have popped
- Your sound and music on or off settings
This data lives in the app's private storage. Other apps cannot read it. If you uninstall TipTapDot, this data is deleted with it.
3. Internet access
TipTapDot does not ask for the Internet permission. Because of that, the app is technically unable to send any information off your device, even if it wanted to. The game works fully offline.
4. Permissions the app uses
Vibration. Used only to give a small haptic buzz when you pop dots, land combos, or hit a boss. You can turn this off in your phone settings at any time.
There are no other permissions.
5. Sharing and rating buttons
The game has Share App, Share Score, and Rate Us buttons. When you tap one of these, Android opens the app you choose, such as a messaging app, a social app, or the Google Play Store. Whatever you send is handled by that app under its own privacy policy. We do not receive a copy, and we do not track whether you used the button.
6. Advertising and analytics
There are no ads in TipTapDot. There are no analytics tools, no crash reporting services, and no third party tracking software. Nothing is profiled and nothing is sold.
7. Children's privacy
TipTapDot is not directed at children under 13. Since the game collects no information at all, it also does not knowingly collect anything from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided information to us, contact us and we will help.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. Any data the game creates stays on your device and disappears when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.
9. Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continued use of the game after an update means you accept the new version of this policy.
